Don’t ya love it when you eat an orange, and it’s so juicy and juice starts getting every where as you divide it.  So you’re like, “OH!, I should just eat a huge chunk at once.  This will fix the problem.”  So you shove it in, and the moment you chew, orange juice squirts out of your mouth and all over your computer monitor.  Don’t  you just love that…

So a teenage crow has been outside this week, causing much shenanigans.  From what I’ve read, they just walk around causing trouble, because they can’t fly yet.  Their mom just flies after them yelling at them to get back up in the tree, but instead they just stay out all night and expect to be fed dinner when they get home….such a lil hooligan!

Shannon O’Leary did a great article on how a lot of recent animation is influenced by independent comic artists.  I love this! Because as an animator, this is the world I’ve always looked at for influence in on how I design my animations.

Saw this guy dancing on the side of the 1 and got a lil afraid….

My 10 year old cat and I are having a Lethal Weapon moment once a week…..

Did this comic because I was trying to dream up some way to protect family and friends in Dallas!  Hope everyone is ok there and the clean-up is fast & everyone can get back to enjoying their queso & chips soon.  Super Hearts to Big D!!

Who doesn’t go crazy for biscuits! Especially when gravy is involved…….

As I walked thru the wet grass.  Letting my feet sink into those deep patches.  Water slowly filled my shoes w/ each step.  And I felt more alive than I had in months.

*************Almost wrote a funny ending like “And I knew then, I should or ordered a corn dog at lunch” but I resisted! hah

SXSW put the trailer to my Animation Short Film “Chocolate Milk” up!!  So excited to be accepted there for my World Premiere.

Went to the “San Francisco Eats” exhibit at the San Francisco Main Library Gallery.  They had all these amazing vintage menus and I loved reading what people were eating in the 1880s-1920s.

My favorite menu was definitely this homage to Krazy Kat for Duffy’s Tavern.  So interesting how this menu survived but there is not info about Duffy’s at all on google….
