Did this painting after remembering how the 6th grade girls at my school wanted to show how sad they were when Kurt Cobain died.  So they put a bunch of black eyeliner around their eyes and wore their finest thrift shirts.  Felt like it was very silly and terribly sad all at once.  So many young music stars died during that generation.  These days childhood idols just seem to self-destruct …..

This is me water color painting my hand drawn animation for “Chocolate Milk.  That was crazy town.  Did the bulk of the painting on Sunday when the Art Center I have my studio at was pretty vacant so we were able to line the hallways.

I could not get the shrub right and then I got too hungry to mess with the painting any more.  Maybe all my creative juices were zapped. Ehhhhhh  Ate a nice empanada afterwards ;D
